Probate and Trust Administration

The exact process involved with each individual probate estate will vary and can be confusing for an executor of the estate to navigate. The firm works with

clients to prepare the appropriate documents to initiate probate proceedings and perform various functions involved with managing the estate, including

paying the estate’s debts, collecting money owed to the estate, compiling an inventory of the estate’s assets, preparing estate tax returns and fiduciary

accountings, and distributing the estate’s assets among the beneficiaries. The firm can also assist with collecting non-probate transfers such as life insurance

and trusts, and preparing deeds and other property transfer instruments.

Regardless which side of the process a client is on, the firm is also available to provide representation in various types of probate and estate disputes, such

as will contests involving claims such as incapacity and undue influence as well as claims against trustees and fiduciaries.
